A Wedding Whisperer ..
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER AND VIDEOGRAPHER
A legend with a prime lens.
Hi, I’m Jess—wedding photographer, visual storyteller, chai latte addict, and your honorary third wheel with a camera.
I’ve been photographing love stories since the dawn of time, which basically means I’ve seen more awkward first kisses, boutonniere mishaps, and happy tears than I can count. I thrive on the messy, unscripted moments—because let’s be real, perfect is overrated and real is where the magic lives.
I’m a mum to three beautiful (and slightly feral .. I mean teenagers, am I right) kids, and three dachshunds who think they run the household—and honestly, they kind of do. Between family chaos and editing marathons, I’ve developed an elite-level skill set that includes pinning on buttonholes under pressure, calming down panicked brides, and herding groomsmen like a seasoned sheepdog.
When I’m not knee-deep in wedding timelines or hiding behind a lens, you’ll find me binging Aussie dramas, sniffing freshly cut grass like a weirdo, or pretending I’m not eating snacks meant for the kids. I love nothing more than connecting with good humans, sharing a laugh, and capturing moments that make your heart ache in the best way.
If you’re after stiff poses and fake smiles, I’m probably not your girl. But if you’re into heartfelt images, belly laughs, wind-blown hair, and the kind of photos that feel like you—then we’re going to get along just fine.
Meet Paul ..
Meet Paul – The Better Half (and the One Who Carries the Heavy Stuff)
When he’s not whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, Paul swaps his chef’s hat for a camera and joins the wedding chaos as my right-hand man. His creative eye (and endless patience) make him the ultimate assistant photographer — and let’s be honest, he’s pretty great at keeping everyone fed and laughing too.
After a few years of shooting alongside me, he’s now diving into the film side of things — because apparently, one artistic talent wasn’t enough. Whether he’s catching candid moments, wrangling gear, or sneaking cake between shots, Paul’s the secret ingredient that makes our photo and film magic happen.
